Animal Odd Couples – Check Out These Wacky Pairings!

As pet lovers, we know the bond that can form between humans and their furry, feathered or scaled friends. We also know that humans are sometimes a drag, which is why animals form their own odd couples within the animal kingdom! Check out the cuteness for yourself: a cat who befriends an owl, a leopard who loves his bunny buddy, and a dog who’s crazy for his dolphin pal.

Casey Anderson, host of “Expedition Wild” and the new “Unlikely Animal Friends” on National Geographic WILD, says that the emotional bond between species can trump their predatory instincts, especially when both animals have been abandoned by their own mothers or rescued as babies. Like us, they just want friendship and love, and it looks like they found it in each other.
